FreeOrion is a professional project, despite it being developed by the charitable time contributions of those involved. As such we must maintain a certain level of decency, etiquette, and respect. Anyone, irrespective of age, nationality, experience, etc is welcome to help. However, they must respect the rules and encourage a productive and professional environment. The rules and etiquette for this project and the forums are:

1. No trolling
2. No flaming
3. Try to use correct spelling and grammar
4. Never post copyright material [http://www.freeorion.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=144
5. No extraneous threads [1]
6. No realism arguments [2]
7. No comments on modern politics (last 100 years)
8. No religious debates
