  • FreeOrion 0.4.10 has been released - Windows and OSX installers are available on SourceForge and on GitHub. Linux users can use the snap package we provide on snapcraft.io (please be patient, it may take a few days until the 0.4.10 snap is available), or acquire from your distribution if available. If neither is possible, Linux users will need to build from source. Source tarballs are available from GitHub (please use the source tarball file with version and build number in the filename, not the links automatically created by GitHub). See the Compile page for more instructions. See this post for release notes. Vezzra 14:55, 26th July 2020 (UTC)

Linux users can use the snap package we provide on snapcraft.io, or acquire from your distribution if available (which might not be the case as FreeOrion still depends on Python2 which will no longer be supported by many distros). If neither is possible, Linux users will need to build from source. Source tarballs are available from GitHub (please use the source tarball file with version and build number in the filename, not the links automatically created by GitHub). See the Compile page for more instructions. See this post for release notes. Vezzra 16:00, 9th February 2020 (UTC)
