  • Release candidates of FreeOrion 0.4.10 available! - Release candidate builds for 0.4.10 are now available on SourceForge for Windows and Mac OSX. Testing and feedback on the forums for these candidates are appreciated. Vezzra 11:35, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
  • FreeOrion 0.4.9 has been released - Windows and OSX installers are available on SourceForge and on GitHub. Linux users can use the snap package we provide on snapcraft.io, or acquire from your distribution if available (which might not be the case as FreeOrion still depends on Python2 which will no longer be supported by many distros). If neither is possible, Linux users will need to build from source. Source tarballs are available from GitHub (please use the source tarball file with version and build number in the filename, not the links automatically created by GitHub). See the Compile page for more instructions. See this post for release notes. Vezzra 16:00, 9th February 2020 (UTC)
