Twenty-second game on the multiplayer slow game server

Looks like we have countdown for previous game so I opened thread about next game. It still continue to polish future 0.5.0 release. Weekly test build version is 2022-11-01.6387e2e.

I suppose remaining turns will take around a week also I need some time to gather people. So currently I schedule test game at 1st of November and actual game at 3rd of November.

Changes from previous games:
  • Research cost: 70%.
  • Production cost: 70%.
  • Protection Focus Stability Bonus: 5
  • Planet Stability Baseline: 2
  • Singularity of Transcendence Cost Scaling: 0.5
  • Diplomacy changes enabled.
  • Monsters Frequency: Low.

I've visited https://freeorion-test.dedyn.io/ but I couldn't find anything to sign in a slow game.

Also shouldn't we wait until the Supply problem is solved ?

There is "Log In" page. Then "Slow games corner" page.

Are recent changes that bad? I hope they will be fixed in next week.

I gather it's not that changes are bad but rather that there's more to fix

Could someone remind me how to change the initial ships and perhaps default settings so I start with the same ships in single player as we do in multiplayer and perhaps it is possible to default to the same settings like 0.7 costs etc without having to click through the gui?

EDIT: ok I found this at least for the ships should help me:

Three or more team placement not yet ready. I could remove alliance requirement so any remaining empires will win even if they aren't allied.

We could also play no diplomacy, which we haven't had in a while. I'm easy either way.

Edit: Actually scratch that idea, we are still testing supply changes.

Yes, I also prefer this game to be free diplomatic (with maximum winners > 1).

If you don't want to change it with GUI you could place desired values to https://freeorion.org/index.php/Config.xml Example for previous game is here: https://github.com/o01eg/freeorion/blob ... config.xml <setup> block is what you asked.
