version: FreeOrion_v0.4.8_2018-08-23.26f16b0_Win32
OS: Windows 7 (64bit), 16GB RAM, with Xeon E3 class CPU.

Great game , like to play it very much!
In larger galaxies in late game stages with large production lists, the game UI interaction involving adding/removing production gets slowed down too much. Game needs a few seconds per add/remove interaction (e.g. galaxy with 1024 stars, turn >400, production list > 100 items)
Galaxy generation with test option "starlanes everywhere" looks promising (tried it with a 2048 star galaxy, but turn delay times soon reduce the fun quite a bit, so didn't play long)

found the following bugs:

Bug 1: game exits to desktop, after loading a 63MB binary saved game file (galaxy Spiral 4-arm, 1024 stars,3 enemy AI, turn 426) and displaying the UI with part of galaxy map for like 1 second.

Bug 2: could produce one "out of game turn" planet invasion (reminded me of 0.4.7 bug of the same type).

Bug 3: stalled game (galaxy 1024 stars, 3 enemy AI, monsters: low, natives: low, specials: medium, turn 105, with testoption "starlanes everywhere" enabled)
It was my turn 105, but "Empire" windows showed with string "..." that one AI had not finished its last turn. After pressing the "Turn" button the game advanced and wrote in "Messages" window the text "Waiting for other players". Turn-button was now gray-colored and could not be pressed again. Game UI could be interacted normally with, but no turn advance possible from that point on.

Thanks for developing this game !

If you can post or host the save files that reproduce those issues, it would be very helpful. Just "a bug happened" doesn't do much for reproducing and diagnosing, unfortunately.
