Now you should get messages too. Bot received subscription update. Could you try to send message to bot? It doesn't answer but at least I will see if bot receives it.

Hmmm... swaq, did you miss turn 97 (due to being locked out of the game)?
If you did and that caused trouble to you, I wouldn't mind going back one turn.

I did miss one turn but it's not a big deal. I had enough stuff in production and research queues and no battles took place so I'm fine with having skipped it.

Thinksome and o01eg also do not have the time to take over.

Its really a shame about the empire. We should have stopped the game until there was a resolution for my situation.
This half-minded moves i make result in quite a lot stupid mistakes and make it less compelling for somebody to take over.

Alas nobody is taking over, so i will try to think up a way to move out completly.

You can try labor camps on all planets and scrapping all buildings?
It will be annoying for everyone (your neighbors that invested on conquering populated planets will get just outposts, your not-neighbors will find suddenly their foes can concentrate all their forces against them while building "cheap" colonies in the free outposts), but it seems there's nothing else to do.
Until (if ever) we get AIs to take over conceding empires, I guess one shouldn't join a game when not going to be able to stick to it for two months.

OR, actually, I wouldn't mind pausing the game until you can resume normal playing, if you still interested and others are not bothered by the unexpected halt of the game.

As my neighbors did not invest yet in conquering, the "fairest" thing to do would be to cut out that part of the galaxy and join swaqs and wobblys neighborhoods.
