Trigger Experimentors wake up

When we played Tower Defense style game we found we had to activate Experimentors earlier than turn calculated in scripts with editing those script. Still it wasn't big issue for us to attack and capture them.

Maybe we can script some other activation for them to produce monsters like war techs or firepower around Experimentors system or something else.

You may have to include a number/certain amount of ships with the war tech or firepower.

It would be great if it was only as a a form of defence, and if certain war techs or firepower were detected within say 3 jumps of their home planet, They spawned one or a couple of monsters and then went back into obscurity, not producing any more monsters, until the same conditions occurred again or were still occurring.

Otherwise they can ruin a game or someones game, if its not a tower defence game.

OR

Same triggers, but it triggers 2 or 3 experimentor home worlds spread around the galaxy, so every player/team has the same problem.

I think I'll temporarily make EXPERIMENTOR_SPAWN_BASE_TURN a game rule so it would be more manageable, until better solution.

Total galaxy population could be a nice trigger, but it needs a few testing games to figure out the numbers.
Better a combo of total galaxy population and outposted GGs...

Having it scripted is OK for the time being.
