It's indirectly related to Sly. Half the point for me of larval kraken being stealthy is that Sly can hide them during their early growth phase. Apart from that Oberlus could move this discussion into the monster thread, if that is prefered.

Well there's always the option of giving them a stealth bonus when stationary, that'd solve the wandering monster issue. Not necessarily saying its a good idea, just throwing it out there.

Partially these are already in the game. At some pt I changed the guard_macro to occasionally use cloud cover, ash cloud or dimensional cloak instead of guard ships or ancient guardians. I'm yet to see it outside super tester so I'm not sure how well its working.

Both of you seem to be forgetting that continuous scanning policy exists. I deliberately picked a number that was within that range.

Apart from that its probably easiest to add in the non-controversial change (stealth on GGs) and leave any other tweaking for extra discussion.

Interesting... (no, really, that's a good idea, just not sure how to achieve it without breaking other parts of the game)
But first Slys need to get those monsters, and they're bad Research and it's usually not a good idea to use Continuous Scanning...

Well, I try to forget that it exists since it's completely unbalanced, but Ophiuchus did not.

I'd like you to try and be more coherent when critizicing suggestions?
You can't not talk about how the balance would break and dismiss the opposite arguments just because you are voluntarily ignoring part of the game mechanics.
It's annoying and a waste of time.
