I think FreeOrion developers should hurry before space conquest becomes contemporary or even history! The first private space ship made the first attempt for X-Prize!
My dream as being rich is to participate in a space race, or at least to have a small open network of telescopes for watching the sky. These are more like escape dreams as long as I'm married, two children and fully integrated into society.
What are your dreams? (Having money is not a dream, is just a way of achieving a dream)
It will be interesting to have a pool afterwards about typical Orion players.
Be quick before FreeOrion becomes "The Sims"

*Cynacism Alert*
Going sub-orbital like the SpaceShip One team have done, though quite an accoumplishment (especially for the reported $20 mil it cost), is a very long way indeed from going into space.
For one thing, you don't have to bother with that tiresome little thing called a heat-shield (and we all know what happens if that thing goes wrong!). Other problems that don't really exist at sub-orbital are:
in-orbit moving motion
space-debris / micro-meteorites
high/low temperates
etc, etc.
But it's a start.
As to dreams... Erm, World Domination isn't taken yet is it?
