The problem with book recommendations is that their quality is extremely dependent on the good taste of the recommender...
So without knowing anything about your team, it's difficult to know what to do with this list.
I must confess that I know none of these books, I just heard about John Scalzi because of Redshirts (that I didn't get a chance to read so far).
