Yeah ok, looks like "planet colonized" is only planet colonized with a colony ship and a colony built on an outpost is being counted as a building. The interface for sitrep filters has a bunch of problems. No idea when someone will get around to reworking it.

Almost. The colony building is counted as a building, so one gets the sitrep for building a building. Also for some reason we have two different sitreps for creating colonies. If it is done via colonization it uses SITREP_PLANET_COLONIZED and if it is done via script (setting species, population, and owner) it uses SITREP_NEW_COLONY_ESTABLISHED.
Maybe this should use the same sitrep(?).

Yeah, aggregation would be my top priority.
Any code or patches in anything posted here is released under the CC and GPL licences in use for the FO project.

Opposite direction of aggregation would be, no notifications for any buildings but shipyard types (and other buildings with active use like that) I'd use that notification filter.
