Can Krakens mature if they are in a system with a gas giant but there's combat?

In theory, no, not in current versions, they could in older versions but we changed it because it wasn't a great experience. We talked about having the newly grown up beastie inherit a proportion of damage but that never happened, I think we'd need to tie it with some form of healing for them if we did that.

I had noted that when they transition the new form is at 100% structure.
