Wie wäre es mit 'Anlage' oder 'Bauwerk'?

After the nice reorganization of stringtable files, i think that it is time to end the parallel-running of the two German files ger and de.

So i suggest the following:

1. delete the de-file (she is very very old and nobody use it anymore)
2. rename the file ger to de (so all language files have 2 char)

There are translated entries in the de stringtable that aren't translated in ger. This should be merged. I can do that. If you want to do this I suggest you use a merge tool like winmerge or meld to simplify your work.

I know that, but the most part of this entries are not up to date anymore. For the others, i have a copy and will introduce them when i translate the concerned parts.

Just to check, it looks like you may not have noticed the reorganization & new naming scheme for stringtables: http://www.freeorion.org/index.php/Languages
If I provided any code, scripts or other content here, it's released under GPL 2.0 and CC-BY-SA 3.0

Please have a look at my post dated 11 may 2013 11:03 (7 posts upward).
I still hope that someone will do it.

Ah ok, I was thrown off by the old naming style 'ger.txt'. I take it there are still some entries in 'de.txt' that you don't have in your version yet? Even if so, & you still want to keep the current 'de.txt' around for reference, perhaps it is time to rename it to 'de_old.txt ' and to rename yours to 'de.txt'?

It seems a little odd to have the most actively maintained german stringtable have a nonstandard filename.

Live is hard!
1. I am not responsible for the actual state of two German files.
2. When I begin to translate I use the most actual file, seems to be logic. That was ger_stringtable.txt.
3. That a second German file was always a “Dorn im Auge” to me. Sry I cannot translate this expression, but it means more or less “I don’t like it”.
4. I don’t care if a file is called X or Y, I use what’s actual.
5. The de_ file does not contain anything that could be useful to me. All entries are very old and no more up-to-date.
6. And finally, I have no access to the repository. I can just ask, pls, pls...

So once again enclosed the new de.txt (ex- ger.txt) and delete (pls, pls) the ger.txt.

There are a lot of entries in de.txt that are good to use, translate the english entry properly and are not part of ger.txt.

The files should be merged as soon as possible to solve this issue.

Das wurde schon besprochen. Ich bin es leid mich zu wiederholen.
