How do I know if my ships are being detected?

#1 Post by codekiddy »

So I put a lot of research into stealth technologies to make "invisible" scouts, but how do I know that?
I mean how to figure out detection strength of other empires to be sure my ships aren't detected? thanks!
(btw, I can see detection range from other empire objects, but that's not detection strength right?)

The pedia entry for each empire currently tells you their detection strength. In the future it might be necessary to get that info via espionage. One easy way to pull up an empire's pedia page is if you have any SituationReport about their ships arriving or about combat with them, etc., then clicking on their colored name will pull up their pedia page.
If I provided any code, scripts or other content here, it's released under GPL 2.0 and CC-BY-SA 3.0

oh thank you mate, I just figured out (thanks to you) the quick way is: empires > right click on empire name > pedia lookup :D
