anonymous "Asteroid Belt(s)"

#1 Post by Steve »

Planets get ID'ed by their position (orbital order) relative to their star (or so I presume) -- I, II, III, IV, and all that.

Asteroid belts have no such identifier.

Worse - much worse - in SitRep's, they report WITHOUT ANY STELLAR RELATION. Thisa-and-thata happened at an asteroid belt... great, but WHICH STAR? Often, it's clear from context... but not always.

Or is this fixed in (or scheduled for) a later build than I'm running [SVN 4635] ?

Thanks!

The latest version seems to include the name of the system, for example "Sol Asteroids". In any case, clicking on the link provided in the sitrep will bring you straight to whichever asteroids it's talking about.
Warning: Antarans in dimensional portal are closer than they appear.
