System Requirements

Hey, I was just curious what the system requirements for FO might be... I read in the graphics forum that each ship may be scaled to 1000 (or was it 5000) polygons, and the like -

Myself I don't have a beefy system (by today's standards) just a pentium 3 500mzh with Geforce 2, and I get pretty pissy at some games (like CIV 3 for example) that IMHO are extremely sluggish for what they are showing on the screen (just a bunch of animated FLC files).

Is / was there a forum that looked at this issue?

don't pay attention to this thread. nothing about this is decided yet, if i'm right informed.

besides this, 1000 polys per ship are simply a stupid idea (sorry)
