Yes. It's also been tweeted about.Vezzra wrote:Are you going to post a news message on the FO main page like you did when the release candidates for 0.4 had been put up?

Yep, to all 11 of our followers (counting devs). We need to work a little harder to make the twitter account known.Geoff the Medio wrote:It's also been tweeted about.

Re: Recent Windows Builds
I suppose linking to it somewhere on the wiki page would help... Maybe also in the release announcement.
Re: Recent Windows Builds
Is 4.0.1 RC build more up-to-date than the 5030 exe? (Sorry, been away for a few days and then THIS happens!)

Re: Recent Windows Builds
I have at least that many friends interested in this project, I just found out about this great new release candidate - which I will be testing the hell out of as soon as the download finishes. Hopefully in a month I have something else to contribute to the project as welleleazar wrote:Yep, to all 11 of our followers (counting devs). Either way, I am going to pass the news around!
Re: Recent Windows Builds
Apologies if this is an inappropriate spot to mention this, it's my maiden post on the forums.
Running SVN 5195, after the install completed, failed for me (I'm a Windows person) because OIS.dll was not unpacked with the install process.
I then uninstalled 5195, installed SVN 5155 and got the OIS.dll from that version, copied it to a different directory, uninstalled 5155, reinstalled 5195 and moved the (obsolete?) OIS.dll in from my temporary holding directory, and this appears to have gotten me at least to the menu screen with no problems.
Haven't played a game with this combination yet but so far things seem happy.
But you might want to fix the installer to include that DLL.

Re: Recent Windows Builds
Yeah, I just updated a bunch of things in the build and made the new installer, and forgot to include that file, which I changed from being a precompiled dependency to being built as part of the FreeOrion build. Thanks for the test report.
Edit: updated version uploaded.
