What'd be the best way to use uncreative?

My current thoughts have wandered to Tolerant+Unification. Then pirate the heck out of my opponents.....

Anything that gives you spying bonuses + lithavore makes a pretty potent combo. With enough spying bonuses, you can just steal everything. In a crowded galaxy, you'll be on top of the tech chart at all times. Caveats: don't expect to make any friends. You'll never get ahead in the tech race, but you'll never be behind either. You spend you time buildin ships instead. Mwuhaha...

Hmm... my latest idea(the Piries) uses Tolerant and Lithovore with Feudal and -2 ship attack. Swarm the galaxy like Lemmings!!!!! Works surprisingly well. I can make a brand new colony ship in about 8 turns..... without any tech...

I guess, it depends on galaxy size....

I always go with huge. That way there's at least a little elbow room.

I'm thinking about trying Subterranean+Transdimensional though. and take out tolerant.

I normally do (at least I think this is it):
Subteranian
Lithovore
Research + 1
Dictatorship
Low G World
Worst Spying
Worst Ground Combat
Large Homeworld

I've been owning the enemy. However, more recently I got a hold of this thing that lets you mod races, ie choose what pics they are gonna be and put in new race pictures. And it certinaly makes them tougher. I made a few lithovores and they spread pretty fast.

That Melting Pot Editor plus some others is in the list through this link:

hmm... interesting...

I thought about trandimensional but it won't work. SubT is 6 and TransD is 5.......

so I went with Feudal, -2 ship attack, (obviously) Uncreative, and, Lithovore, SubT, Large homeworld, and Omniscient.

Omniscient is not to be under estimated. knowing where all the goodies are makes for a devastating advantage. Not to mention the way it lets you sucker punch enemies.

BTW, having a home world with a max population of 24 is great!!

I don't like low-g or the -g combat since I Mug the heck out of the Antarans. And the AIs too if I get the chance.

I think utilae's choice is already quit good, but not perfect. :P Lithovore is good but overestimated, democracy is much more important. I don't have all the points in my mind, but this choice leaves also 3 points for +2 research.

This is proven to be the best combo for huge galaxies amoung friends in hundreds of multiplayer games. :) Other sizes might be different.

Actually I think thats what I left out. I get +1 Production and +2 Research:
eg.
Subteranian
Lithovore
Research + 2
Production + 1
Dictatorship
Low G World
Worst Spying
Worst Ground Combat
Large Homeworld

Yeah, thats right.

... you just made me reinstall MoO2 ;)

i hope, i remembered correctly, it's been quite a while;)

Subterran
Democracy
Research+2

LowG
LargeHW
GroundCombat-10
Spying-10

The first three are the important one, The lower 4 can be exchanged a little.

LOL, nice try:
+ 6 -- Subteranian
+10 -- Lithovore
+ 6 -- Research + 2
+ 3 -- Production + 1
+ 0 -- Dictatorship
- 5 -- Low G World
- 3 -- Worst Spying
- 2 -- Worst Ground Combat
+ 1 -- Large Homeworld
- 10 -- free race pics
-----------------
so you spend 6 points more than you could... :PPPP, or do you play a mod????

I'd rather have weak ship attack than weak ground combat. Weak ground combat means it's murder trying to hijack Antaran ships.

Speaking of which..

The "Carjackistanis"!

Creative, democracy, -20 ship attack, -spying,...

I think that was it.

Oh sorry, I had to go back into Moo2 to check. Now I remember. I use two different setups:

Setup 1 - Science & industry variation
---------
+10 -- Lithovore
+ 6 -- Science + 2
+ 3 -- Industry + 1
+ 0 -- Dictatorship
- 5 -- Low G World
- 3 -- Spying -10
- 2 -- Ground Combat -10
+ 1 -- Large Homeworld
- 10 -- free race pics

Setup 2 - Subterranean variation

---------
+ 6 -- Subterranean
+10 -- Lithovore
+ 3 -- Science + 1
+ 0 -- Dictatorship
- 5 -- Low G World
- 3 -- Spying -10
- 2 -- Ground Combat -10
+ 1 -- Large Homeworld
- 10 -- free race pics

O~O I never did like low-g.... You could swap it with Feudal and take out large homeworld.
