How/where is it? I looked in the sourceforge thing but the newest file there appeared to be dated Dec-21-05

Look harder. A good place to start would be the link in the news on the main page of the wiki.

This page only shows the time the v0.3.1 first release was made, which is the time marhawkman saw. There are newer releases within that category, however, including RC5.

Zut! Alors, si tu veux jouer FreeOrion, il faut que tu savoir le langue Suédois. Je ne sais pas pourquoi je le dis en français, mais c'est comme c'est.

I meant what was it programmed in. I'm thinking about taking a computer programming class and i though I'd pick one that'd be useful.
