Twentieth game on the multiplayer slow game server

Cycle 158 - Ugmor University of Erythro
Professor Saccharomyces was pondering the notion of causality. Somewhere in the universe a discovery is made leading to sensors that can see further and pierce even the strongest veils of privacy. Elsewhere in the universe a legion of ships is evaporated. Hundreds of Eawax candles snuffed, all because George wanted to peer into secrets of the universe that should not be seen. Truly the universe was a wondrous place.

Re: Twentieth game on the multiplayer slow game server
Very nice use of Furthest in this game, I do admit...
Re: Twentieth game on the multiplayer slow game server
Daybreak's starlane thingy blowed my mind.
Re: Twentieth game on the multiplayer slow game server
I am kind of leaning back to a turn every 24 hours.
With 48 hours we get 3-4 turns for the week
With 24 hours we get 6-7 turns for the week
Do it by consensus - what does everyone else think
Don't worry Oberlus, your mind still appears to be working
Re: Twentieth game on the multiplayer slow game server
Yeah that was really nice, ally or not, I was definitely laughing at your misfortune. I think a sitrep might be missing here? You get 1 when you open a starlane, but not if someone else opens one in your vision?
I like a turn a day. Well I actually like about 4 or 5 turns a day, but 1 turn a day is still pretty reasonable
Re: Twentieth game on the multiplayer slow game server
+1 turn a day
Re: Twentieth game on the multiplayer slow game server
1 turn a day (or more) is obviously better for everyone, except for Endhu.
Since he asked to limit the turns played while he's out, and that the initial deal was to turn at least every 48 hours, I'd consider better to wait for his return as much as we can.
That depends of course if somebody else plans on going on vacation without computer access later.

Two days until you come back, and none of your fleets have been damaged (yet ).Endhu wrote: ↑Thu Jul 14, 2022 8:02 pm I'll be travelling without a computer again for a week from Saturday 16th to Saturday 23rd so I won't be able to play. Daybreak can have delegation rights though it would be best if not too many turns were done in my absence since now we're at quite an interesting part of the game.
Re: Twentieth game on the multiplayer slow game server
Possible bug.
Turn 163.
There is a small krill unwoned monster in an empty system under my radar, right south of system Ankh alpha. It shows up as blockaded, but there are no enemy ships in there.
Maybe it is an UI bug related to ghost sensors (wobbly removed a sensor ghost and the blockade square dissapeared, but I still see it), and the monster is not blockaded. We'll see next turn.

Re: Twentieth game on the multiplayer slow game server
There is definitely some bug(s) with blockade UI. When I was blockading LRs shipyard earlier on Oberlus could see the blockade square around LRs new ships and I couldn't.Oberlus wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 5:29 pm Possible bug.

Re: Twentieth game on the multiplayer slow game server
As I wrote there, I failed to install the game version on my computer, so I can't play....
Re: Twentieth game on the multiplayer slow game server
I already connected to the game but for the sake of clarity: I'm back now and the delegation can be cancelled. Thanks to Daybreak for playing the turns
Re: Twentieth game on the multiplayer slow game server
Welcome back, I've just revoked delegation.
