Thanks, I'm very busy but I'll be around then.
If I provided any images, code, scripts or other content here, it's released under GPL 2.0 and CC-BY-SA 3.0.

Re: Eighteenth game on the multiplayer slow game server
To be 100 % certain : once the new test build is launched, it'll be automatically on the right snap channel, so I'll just have to snap refresh to get it ?

Re: Eighteenth game on the multiplayer slow game server
Technical question : I intend to play on my work computer, due to the heating problem I faced on my laptop.
At night and during weekends, I only have ssh connection to this work computer.
I know it's possible to access a X session through ssh, but never succeeded in doing so.
Any tip on the subject ? Is FreeOrion specific in any way on that regard ?

Re: Eighteenth game on the multiplayer slow game server
Oh, sorry!!!
I completely forgot about the test builds last week - please, in future, if the test builds aren't available Wednesday morning, and there has been no comment from me about why I didn't get around to them, then I just forgot, and you may feel free to give me a gentle poke to remind me to produce them!
Apparently, I'm getting old, forgetful and muddle-headed (and this whole pandemic situation with being holed up at home 99% of the time isn't helping at all with that).
So, please, have no qualms about reminding me of my duties...

Re: Eighteenth game on the multiplayer slow game server
The issue seems to be that natives can appear anywhere (including in a player's homeworld, breaking game), instead of at a minimum distance of two hops from any player's homeworld.
That issue could take some time to be fixed.
I don't mind playing this game with it unfixed:
- If one player starts with the playable species replaced by a native species, we restart game.
- If some players get natives at 0 or 1 hops from their homeworld, well, not so different from having them at 2-4 hops.
Does anyone prefer to wait for a fix?

Re: Eighteenth game on the multiplayer slow game server
I recommend we keep restarting till I get Kobuntura
Re: Eighteenth game on the multiplayer slow game server
I agree to play if I get a defenseless native in my homeworld system...
More seriously, I tried to connect but got a "checksum differs" and got kicked out after less than a minute in the lobby.
I thought that Ophiuchus said that the Snap would be automatically updated ? And yes I began by a "snap refresh" (who told me that all my snaps were up to date).
Edit: and now I can't even try again (nor start a single player game : I get the message "a local server is already running".

Re: Eighteenth game on the multiplayer slow game server
Well, it needs to be build and published first. If you look at the snap thread, that didnt happen
You can do
kill freeorion freeoriond freeorionca
