For balance, have you considered putting the Imperial Palace influence bonus to +7 as I suggested ?

Understanding how the new mechanisms affect balance is one of my goal in this game so balance issues are not that much a problem, but tackling the one I was able to spot on my first test game (in single player) would still be better I believe.

If we find bugs that make the game unplayable you won't be the only one willing to restart.
However, I hope that bug you mention only concerns your modified installation.

In general, yes. I wouldn't say it is "infuriating", but it is quite annoying.

I can't vouch for it since I don't understand all the background code, but I believe it has nothing to do with my modified FOCS files, as none of them should affect Stability.
It may be linked to me mistakenly using the "edge" rather than "beta" snap channel, though - but I'm not entirely convinced since as mentioned elsewhere I had met the same (or a very similar) bug in another test game using the beta channel.

So, if such a bug appears, everybody would agree to restart the game ?
I haven't seen so far any other bug that would make me lose all interest to the game to the point of conceding.

No, we could either make AI play your empire or you can make all planets become independent.

No, it doesn't looks caused by content changes so I left it as is. I'm trying to use CI environments to get vanilla values on different OS and then catch when it started to differs.

Time left for turn overwraps with FPS counter and auto-turn button.

If you forgot password from old XMPP account you should send me new XMPP address in PM and add [email protected] to roster.

JFYI: I published the current weekly build for the slow game under branch channel: latest/beta/slow-game-016

Downside misusing a branch channel: I think I will need to republish this every thirty days or so if nothing changes.
Any code or patches in anything posted here is released under the CC and GPL licences in use for the FO project.
