Auto-turn is implemented in future release but lacks UI support.
Even if I set all colonies to defence server will wait bobit to make a turn until his empire will be eliminated.
Couldn't Geoff (or any neutral person, so not me) log as Bobit just to click "Next Turn" each time he's the last to play (until Bobit comes back if he does, of course)?
Also I don't really see the point of halting the game, what do we gain from playing one turn every two days rather than one turn a day ?

I wouldn't give that burden to anyone that is not actually playing.

Universe layout would suggest drkosy to be the most neutral one. But maybe can client based autoturn be triggered without UI? o01eg could start a process to do that without looking (geoff could set defense focus first)

I don't think we can find anyone to play for Bobit. We never find anyone to play for anyone.
wobbly would fill in, but i think he said he's not available in march

I'm still deciding if I'll play. If I don't I'd be prepared to fill in for Ophiuchus, assuming I'm not away on holidays myself.

The only process could do that is AI.

AI would also be OK for me. Is that possible to hook one up to the player account? I could run one 24/7 i guess(?).

I can cycle some turns until a replacement is found or AI set up, and perhaps play the empire a bit. I've observed the galaxy, but don't think I remember or closely observed enough for it to be a problem.

I could launch 1 AI on the server but I need to fix some server issues to allow AI enter already playing game.

When I will restart the server what do you think about reverting some turns? 2 or 3 maybe?

Sorry all. I'm way too forgetful for this. Just joining this in the first place made this likely to happen and I should have admitted that to myself. What a shame.
I probably shouldn't rejoin either, unless it is easier for you if I do.

We could return you to the game, I think, or you still have issues with regular connectivity or so?

I would expect that I would still struggle to remember. Maybe if I could set a timer for a specific login time every day, but just once per day slows everyone down, and what if I forget to charge my phone or am not near it. I don't think I can do it. But whatever is best for you, because I'm aware that I ruined a week of the game.
