I'll be attending the Staunton River Star Party from Wednesday, 23 October through Sunday, 27 October.

I will be unable to enter orders during that period, and request that the deadline falling on the 23rd be extended until the 28th.

If that is not acceptable, i suppose we can try out the delegation logic.

Thanks.

Jon
I'm fine with extending turn, and I will setup Oberlus delegation when JonCST confirm it.

Also Magnate've just asked to extend this turn for two days.

I'm perfectly fine with all turn extensions.

Didn't our last attempt to delegate crash the server? Not that 'flipping the table' would be so bad for our side :p

I don't expect that there'll actually be much to do as delegate, but sure, lets try that to see what happens.

Oberlus, i'll send you a PM about the current situation.

Yes, I think both sides should be agreed with each other in delegation.

Jon gave me clear instructions on what to do. Now I just have turn against my allies.

PS: so I just have to connect to the server using my user and the OTP I'll receive, right?

PS2: if a player sets the advance turn non-stop thingy (that button next to Turn) and click next turn, will it be advancing turns unattended after disconnecting?

No, current delegation system requires you to connect with his user and the OTP you'll receive.

No, auto-advancing turn works on the client-side.

Jon out 'til Sunday

#114 Post by JonCST »

Hi all.

I have just entered orders for the most recent turn.

I will not be able to enter orders again until at least 2300 UT on Sunday.

Oberlus, you have the bridge.

Thanks.

The peaceful swaq empire delicately removed an unsightly troop ship from the top of the galaxy only to be chased all the way home by bloodthirsty Laenfa warriors of the Magnate dynasty. And on the direct front Magnate has employed Kobuntura slaves to assert dominance over the border territories. It's a stalemate for now with a precarious balance. At the bottom of the galaxy the valiant worms of JonCST were able to capture an outpost owned by TheSilentOne only to be pushed back by the rapid expansion of the cybernetic weeds. Over on the right corner of the galaxy alleryn has heroically marched on his formerly owned Exobot colonies which were extremely grateful to be liberated from the oppressive weeds. o01eg has taken the Switzerland approach and avoided getting involved in any wars.

Turn 67. Myrtilus, the first swaq colony and a symbol of peaceful expansion, was briefly captured by the Magnate dynasty but the oppressors were swiftly chased away. The Maginot Line is holding, for now, as the Magnate head honchos are content to wage a war of attrition. But the previously neutral supercomputer o01eg encountered a bug and order all Abaddoni to invade the unprotected lower border of the swaq empire. This could signal the beginning of the end. The standoffs also continue near Fetū/Yonder α and Xudax 𝛿 as the fleets dance around with no real effect. Will this galaxy ever see peace?

Yeah I'm gonna put that a little differently.

Once upon a time the Magnate and TSO empires were harmlessly expanding from the centre of the galaxy. All around them they encountered hostility and aggression, in the west, in the south east and in the south. The Swiss did their thing and ignored everyone (to be fair they were gated behind a ridiculous number of monsters but I won't let that spoil the narrative), so for five dozen turns it was 3v2. We, the noble and heroic minority, managed briefly to take both Yonder Alpha and Myrtilus, but couldn't hold them in the face of unrelenting aggression. A peaceful expansion to Hydros Alpha was brutally stomped by the evilitudes and disaster is imminent on every front. Woe! Panic! Scream!

Did the server crash or something? The game froze while downloading and unpacking the game-state for me. I tried leaving and rejoining but now I am greeted by a black screen...
