I averaged all the techs in the tech folder by category and figured i would share.

some things to note.

The Production Growth and Defense category's have nearly equal numbers of techs.
The Construction category has the fewest items.
The Ship_Weapons then hulls category's have the most items.
(Though most weapons directly link from and to each other).
There is a disproportion from Ship_Parts techs to either Ship_Weapons or Ship_Hulls.
The learning category has slightly more techs then the other non ship category's however many are just theoretical.
