For your informtion, Geoff has changed how Stellar Tomography works. Instead of giving a bonus to each research-focused planet depending on local population and star type, you get a bonus to each research-focused planet depending on star type in the system and number of owned research-focused planets in the system:
Black holes: +3 RP per number of owned research-focused planets in the system.
Neutron: +1 RP per idem.
Anything else: +0.2 RP per idem.
So one planet in a BH system would give +3, in a system with two research-focused planets would give +6 (total +12 from the two planets), +9 for three planets (total +27).
So for each research-focused system you get star_type_bonus * focused_planets^2
This makes Stellar Tomo.'s returns more depending on galaxy layout, which is probably a good thing. No idea about balance of numbers, we'll see.
New Stellar Tomography per planet bonus
