I am trying to complete the FreeOrion credits file and would much prefer to have real names alongside aliases. There are more than I would like to PM on the forums, so please see if your name is on this list, and email me your real name so I can put it in the file. If you don't want your name announced to the world then it would be good to let me know and I'll make a note of it in the credits file.

I dont know if anyone else realy cares but why dont we use the traditional

FIRST NAME "SCREEN NAME" LAST NAME

format which seems to be the standard game industry means of identification, I think this would make the Credits file look a bit cooler 8)

If it isn't a problem, could I have my alias near my name in a similar fashion as everyone else's?

Hmm, I wonder if having the longest alias in the list is a bad thing... :p

Well, I think you will have to pay for the additional bandwidth, of course.

The format looks odd as it is right now:

Person 1 - Programming
Person 2 - Programming
Person 3 - Programming
Person 4 - Programming

Better would be:

Programming
-----------------

Person 1
Person 2
Person 3

etc.

i thought about this too, when doing the mockup and the reason why i've chosen this format is, that some people have more than one task and i wanted to avoid having people more than one time in the list.

In terms of total space wastage... which has more? Many instances of "Programming" and "Game Design" or various instances of repeated names?

IMO the "oddness" arises out of the apparent separation of the "teams" with blank lines, which suggests that each group should be separately indicated with a single group label without the need for the job indicators after the names. Perhaps just removing the spaces would help? Names would be ordered by seniority or alphabetically, rather than by group then seniority as now.
