Random Logo Request

It'd be nice to have a slightly fancy-looking logo for the quick play guide:

Something other than just the generic FreeOrion logo at the top might be nice.

Not really... I want logo for the quick play guide. PErhaps something that says "FreeOrion Quick Play Guide"? I just thought a more descriptive logo might look better than just the standard FreeOrion logo for the guide.

This isn't a priority over anything else.

I'm wondering if "quick play guide" still is the right name. Also considering future additions, isn't it likely, that this document will turn into a manual? A quick play guide, could then be kept very short and refer to the manual for more details.

You're probably right... There is a "Quick Start" section at the start that actually could be a "Quick Play Guide", though the whole page is not so quick anymore...

Plain and simple, could go without the 'freeOrion' on top as well I guess.



I prefer the last one, or one of the first two as an alternative.

I've been checking out the forums from time to time, but nothing seemed to be happening here for a while, but from the quickplay screenshots, i see quite a bit of stuff is being done. Then i checked out the SVN log. Bravo.

Could I get some input on this logo, please(Geoff?) - just want to call it done. My preference has shifted and I now prefer the last 3 ones. In the absence of a picture mark, it's probably a good idea to go with a bold logo.

The second-last one (caps, bold) seems best to me. I keep changing my mind between it and the second one (caps, not bold), though. The first is OK too. Don't like the bold lower case, and don't like just GUIDE bold.
