Looks interesting. Might have been interested in buying it.

But you went with Steam. Nothing Steam related gets anywhere near my computer or wallet.

If I was Carl Icahn I would buy Steam stock, screw with their board of directors, plant lies about financial wrongdoing, and then short sell the stock hoping they would completely implode.

I would donate to a go-fund-me campaign to sent hacker ninjas to find and crash every last database they had.

If I could find the CEO I would kick his wife's little yip dog down 20 flights of stairs while she watched in horror.

Extreme Steam hater? Yep, we are out there. Maybe not all as rabid as me, but many people who play single player games are not that company's biggest fans.

Consider adding another digital supplier, like Amazon or GoG, to your game.

We do want to do a GoG release as well, but Steam will be our first platform.

Quite a bit of progress has been made the last month, a lot of it not really things to show off as it's been refactoring code to make things run better. But, something people might enjoy is seeing the rest of the Human fleet!

The plan is to keep stuff pretty much 1:1 scale in tactical. But that might be adjusted depending on how things play.

I guess this won't be easy to pull off in a way that tactical remains reasonably playable, but would surely be awesome if you can get the scaling at least basically realistic...

That's the plan. Some things like planets will be "game scale." The scale of supercaps might be toned down a little depending on how they play. Overall though they'll be big and sluggish which will encourage using smaller ships like frigates and destroyers as wolfpacks.

To celebrate having final masters for a good chunk of the game's soundtrack we've updated Soundcloud with a good chunk of LoR's music:

Here's a look at the Synth starbase!

We've hit a big internal milestone too this week, finishing the player-species fleets!

Witness the power of this fully operational battlestation!

We did hit a pretty big milestone a few weeks ago, finishing off all of the player models. Now we've just wrapped up the elder species and are finishing off various remaining space monsters and grand menaces (super space monsters).
