Interesting concept. Sequence difference don't have to be so influencing by effecting only part of damage. In example above (weapon 0.1, shield 0.9), let's say sequence influences 40% of damage (60% is dealt regardless of sequence), total damage would be base * (0.6 + 0.4 * 0.2). Level of influence ...

Sound like SDL's fault. I also suggest non-QWERTY supprot, at least for english letters because majority of Europe is using QWERTZ.

Hello FreeOrion dev and forumers! Since I can't find topic were new users introduce, I'm starting this one. Hope it's ok. I've heard for FreeOrion long time ago (in 2005, I think) but since it was early in development, I've forgot about it. I'm kind of disappointed with fact that it's still in v0.3 ...
