Yeah, I was going to say that it needs Growth not Supply. It is irritating when a growth special is on a world with a non-growth species, but that's one of the game features. You could evac and replace, but that's probably not a good idea with Beige Goo.

Fuel supply doesn't change while you're on the supply lines, the ship is always full. Once you get off the colored lines, the ship has to use its reserves. One way to rescue the ship is to extend supply lines out to it, like researching Orbital Construction. But mainly keep all ships except scouts o...

Each item that you research has a total RP required and a minimum turn. In the case of SB that 100 RP and 6 turns, so the MOST you can devote to that in a turn is 16.7. You don't make enough RP to do that so you get the indication that you are devoting 9.15 out of a max of 16.7.

At one point there was a bug that the AIs (amazingly) found and were exploiting. They'd put a colony pod, fuel tank, and Improved Engine Couplings in a base and get a fast colony ship.

Building bases when you meant ships or troop drops when you meant ships is one of those things that happens. Scrap and learn.

Under the new rules, that planet would be -3.0? I suspect that my suggestion for Planetary Ecology wouldn't help unless that's changed too.

This allows you to propose peace treaties with other players at the start of the game, although with Maniacals there's not much point in that.

There's lots to learn when you start. I never use the initial colony ship in the starting system. If you have a colonizable planet (on turn 1 that means Good, or the same type as the Home planet) then I would start building an outpost base for it. Others likely will disagree with me. Yeah, that's why if you see a report that an AI got Multi-Spectral early on, be wary.

In general, probably, although Sly will normally do a lot more colony ships due to supply issues. Just because an exobot colony ship is at a system doesn't mean the AI is trying to colonize it. AIs seem to lose track of ships if what they were doing got interrupted. The ship might be there because i...

In the image posted, you can't invade because planetary defenses are up. The only warship I see on that is some sort of tame monster, but it's set to Hide rather than System Control, which is why defenses haven't been knocked down.
