Yes, he missed it.
Our stacks are watching each other. I didn't attack (obviously he didn't too) so there have been no losses in either side.

Ophiuchus, you decide, I don't mind if you need to roll back one turn.

Re: Fiftteent game on the multiplayer slow game server

Thanks for letting us know. No problem from my side, I'm already used to the slow pace.

Re: Testing Government and Influence

Actually this is wrong, too. Polynomial functions have integer exponents. But please do not ask me what the correct term would be. :? Oh, really? Now I have to look for it... In one math place I saw they call it "general nonlinear equation". Well, then, we are looking at a superlinear growth ...

Re: Testing Government and Influence

The problem is not too low influence production, it is influence upkeep, that grows exponentially with number of planets (N^2). Discussion here . <nitpick mode>I thought that thanks to Covid-19 nowadays everybody understand exponential growth... N^2 is quadratic, 2^N is exponential </nitpick mode> ...

Re: Stealth for Supply Lines

The idea is to not let the enemy empire know there is any supply to block, so empires should not see it. Either way, other empires would know there is hidden supply when their own supply bumps into the hidden one. If empires will know either way, what is the logic for not showing it clearly? Either...

Re: Stealth for Supply Lines

The mechanics of propagation would work as now, with every system being supplied by a single source / empire, and competing supply propagations bumping into and blocking eachother. The difference would just be that some players wouldn't be told which, if any, empire is generating supply lines or su...

Re: Testing Government and Influence

I don't know what you disagree with. I certainly want exponential growth, as commented in the linked discussion, just not N^2. I don't see your point, since it's already shared by others and explained elsewhere.

Re: Stealth for Supply Lines

Well, you already got an answer to your actual question: it is possible but hard to have stealth values associated to supply on starlanes. The next question is or was "why?", isn't it. Maybe Geoff can answer it, but I think he doesn't have the time for that. Maybe you want to develop more your idea,...

Interesting use of evacuation

Recently, I conquered a tiny adequate planet with a new species (new for my empire), pop. 1.x, max pop 2. I had several good planets for that species, but I had to wait until I get xeno. genetics and then wait more for the colony to sloooowly grow to pop 3+. I pushed towards enemy space and I got an...

Re: Stealth for Supply Lines

I can understand the call for bringers of suggestions to do their homework first, but if we expect newcomers to read four thousand posts before talking about any subject, that means the project will never get new blood and slowly die of old age... There are tons of suggestions of newcomers (includi...

Re: A (Mostly) Positive Feedback Report

Welcome to the forum! Yeah, AI can be ruthless when you don't know what to expect. It's somehow similar to MOO2: if you have just enough strength to defend, the AI will target some other empire, so the trick is on not overexpanding without also building enough warships. The only issue I encountered ...

I don't see any gameplay benefit from having a different resource (env. points) for terraforming, but I see issues: cluttered UI, replicated subsystems...

Nah, not worth it. I just scrapped it before the colony was stablished so that I could start the George colony ASAP (it's good env. for them! that's what I thought I had queued  )
