I just love what you're doing here! Also, the huge ship in the comparison chart could just as well be an orbital in my eyes; it certainly looked massive enough. As for combat overview, planets are supposedly participating in combat, so big ships shouldn't be a problem. That's really a different disc...

I don't think it's in the game yet, but making it easier to colonize a partially colonized system has been discussed before, and i think it's a good idea. Possibly you could simply build a "colony" building on any planet in a system you already inhabit. Worked for MoO3, at least I liked i...

Added a few more, now Colonial Economic Blueprinting and Fleet Logistics remain. I was thinking of a planet with a gas pump sticking out of it for the latter, but that would imply you had to visit the planet for supplies - the opposite of what we're trying to say. A computer can tell a ship role apart based on the components it decides to give a ship. The same function can be used to suggest to a human player how to designate their ship, but is by no means enforcing anything. IF the player wants to call an attack ship a colony ship , there is nothing to stop...
