I haven't seen any problems other than the reported bug of combat not occurring with unimproved defenses. But that should only affect people like me who use second-in invasion fleets.

I haven't had much problem with Sly against the AIs either. You have to have a bit different mindset. Build colony ships instead of outposts for instance. I get to exobots as soon as I can and rely on them for military. They're no worse pilots and can use robotic shields.

[ Out of curiosity, what are your other base settings for the game? They should be displayed in Encyclopedia. I don't understand. Perhaps the question was unclear. I meant the settings like Galaxy Age, Starlane Frequency, Planet Density, Monster Frequency, Native Frequency, and Specials Frequency.

I listen to other stuff while playing, so I have music and sound effects off.

With tech, I think learning to manage the research is just part of player development. There are guides to help you at the start, but I think experimentation is key.

I have not seen any problems with invasion. Perhaps a few screen caps would clarify the situation. Similarly for your stealth issue. Again, I haven't noted any change there.

Before, you could move the saved designs around to have them appear roughly where you wanted with respect to the pre-designed ones. If you wanted all new ships at the top, you could order them that way.

It's a change, and one I don't like, so I mentioned it.

Flux Bubble is "robotic" in the sense that it requires Robotic Production. However, Robotic Interface Shields is researched in Military Robotic Production, and is not inherited by this hull.
