Honeycomb guarded by Sentinel

Playing latest release. Came across a system with a Sentinel guardian. When I looked at it, the planet contained the Honeycomb special. I've never seen that with anything but the Warden guarding it (or none for no monster setup). I didn't see anything in the change log. Bug or new feature?

Am I to understand that the pedia description of the Exobots is incorrect? If yes, then a fix for that could go into a bugfix release for 0.4.10 - it's already certain that there is going to be one. So they are supposed to be downgraded in industry as well as research? Yes, bad industry (down from average), very bad population -50% (down from average) and bad supply (down from average), IIRC. In the Change Log for 0.4.10, it stated:

Rebalanced Exobots to be adequate on all planet types and very bad at research

However, they are now:

−− Very bad Industry: 50%
−− Very bad Research: 50%

Was it intended to downgrade industry like that? If so, why wasn't it in the log?

While unused will go to stockpile, I find that it's usually not the best technique. That's especially true early on when your stockpile use for most species is very limited. There's generally something you should be building.

That's the way it is. I should have explained a bit more. In the past, you could just queue up some bores spaced out by a turn, so new ones would be created in subsequent turns. I seem to recall some discussion about disabling that, by not allowing a bore to be started if one is in process, but I do...

If you find that the area is overrun with spawn, usually because it started in an AI area, then you can research Gateway to the Void. Build some strategic gateways to let the monsters blunder into and get destroyed. Unless it's been changed for 0.4.10, you don't have to wait for the Experimenters to...

As you're supposed to edit your config.xml, I think the OP is asking where that file is to be found.

It will vary a bit. On my Win 10 machine, it's C:\Users\[MYUSERID]\AppData\Roaming\FreeOrion. [MYUSERID] is my specific one, yours will be different. If you're on Mac, someone else will need to help.

The outpost has to be on supply with the species you want to use to colonize (other than exobots). Plus the target species has to have a planet with population of sufficient size and happiness. If you have an example where you can't figure out the reason, post it and people can let you know the prob...
