The segfault happens at GG/src/ListBox.cpp:709 We're calling GG::Wnd::Height() on previous selection's items, which are now nulls... So someone would like to invest time digging into gigi's innards ? I still think my solution (working around gigi's deficiencies) is logically good, because ObjectList...

How hard would it be to get the movement circles to render over a starname instead of under? That'd solve the problem for me and as it's only a temporary thing that's removed when you deselect the fleet it shouldn't cause major headaches elsewhere/ I'd vote for doing both... But having had a look a...

Whatever the fix, please keep in mind that making the suitability computation less CPU-hungry would be way cool, as currently it makes the game hang for seconds if an objlistwnd with suitabilities is displayed.

That is a patch I would like to propose soon...

But part of that should still be of interest, I'll rediff after the one from that other thread lands... Feel free to do so. Now that we got rid of Boost FS v2 , I rediffed the remaining piece of this cleanup against current svn trunk... patch-use-pathstring.diff Diffstat still interesting : 7 files...

I spoke about scaling the containing boxes to get more mapwnd visible. The planets are still proportionally scaled relatively to the boxes's sizes. So a planet that take half of a big box would take half of a small box if that box is scaled down, the ratio is kept. But you cannot directly compare pl...
