If you select AI fight, there should be a few more options for the "Destroy Enemy" option ... Stars! using PHP? How ingenious. Most likely doable though I'm not sure how you'd get the star-map to work well (generting images dynamically is processor intensive). Few years back, I and few friends were talking about an idea of "porting" Stars! to PHP/mySQL application so that it could be played through a web UI ... it would be doable but we never had/have the time ... it would of been so much simpler to set up a game via a web page (and you could of played it...

The idea for them being expensive, is that you couldn't just blow up a planet every time it seems you're loosing it....

Could a planet be selfdestructed if one so desires? I don't mean that the whole planet would blow up, but that it would destroy almost everything in the surface.... like in a sittuation where an enemy was about to take the planet, you could wipe out everything (including all life enemies and your ow...
