Turn 13

Are you going for Adaptive Automation already or still thinking on money and random stuff? Raging into war with Hhhoh's is too easy. Just set production focus, research production techs, build ships, and invade. Nothing to discuss. It's not even a war, just a military operation. Earlier an independ...

achieving the first development goal, and change in economics (in proportion between costs of production and research). I didn't make my mind about how to mirror that economic shift in my calculations yet. How research and production costs are related? They are two different possible outputs from t...

Re: Thoughtful development, Turns 2..13

Also I have converted the savefile into XML-format (via a game options setting). My question is: it is possible to save the savefile in 2 parts, the encrypted part of unexplored regions and the open part for systems available to the player already? Because I am thinking about writing a script to cal...

At this turn Automated History Analyzer was completed. That mean achieving the first development goal, and change in economics (in proportion between costs of production and research). I didn't make my mind about how to mirror that economic shift in my calculations yet. Also second planet with "...

Re: Thoughtful development, Turns 2..12

We want more excels and less screenshots! 1) You mean "more spreadsheets". I never promoted proprietary software here, nor use it in this thread/forum/gaming activity. Libre Office Calc is my spreadsheet software. 2) Some of you told that they may provide input to this thread. It's very g...

Re: FreeOrion Galaxy Editor specification

This is not a specification, this is "a brief list of requirements". For example, rust developer will not be able to create editor on the basis of this so called "specification". 2 linked documents should be added: - game object model specification - xml-savefile format specifica...

Yes. you can see my picture in this thread, there robotic hulls was carrying shield generators to create a large common shield. With space bubbles i will receive/achieve the same at cheaper cost.

Re: Robotic shield does not work on Spatial Flux Bubble hull

Robotic Interface Shields is researched in Military Robotic Production And that gives ship part and is not inherited by this hull Nowhere is said that this ship part should be incompatible with previous robotic hull(s). Moreover directly opposite is said, that this ship part should work with roboti...

You mention 2 possible resolutions.
But there is also possibility to change dependency between techs.
Make that hull dependent from military robotics.

Re: Robotic shield does not work on Spatial Flux Bubble hull

I was wrong.

The Grav Hull does receive shield from it's group:

Then, the bug is that "Spatial Flux Bubble" Hull is listed in Robotics line.
