How about representing things as real estate prices? Whenever a new building is built, you must first pay the real estate price ( for the land ), which will obviously go up depending on a few factors ( eg. population, number of buildings already there etc. ) In practice, this would be a lot like hav...

Hey, the rpoject is open-source. If anyone doesnt like the way the project is going, then fork, and have a nice life :) Its not really fair to complain when things arent going the way that you would like them to, when people are putting so much effort in. And it all just ends up being very antagonis...

As for the scaling problem, maybe this could be solved by grouping objects on the queue which have very small production costs. So for example if you are building say 50 scouts and 30 fighters late in the game they would appear as one item on the build queue. This would make things easier to manage,...

Hey these are really impressive. Should add a lot to the visual stylings of FO. Only thing I would say, is would it be possible to try a little backlighting to bring out the full sphere of the planet. Also possibly a small fill light for the dark side. However, I am not a graphic designer, so feel f...

for what it's worth, I prefer Okarena's designs, they seem a little less clunky.

I think that its usual to use a generator to make python bindings for things. I've used swig before to make c callable from python and it works pretty well. There is also boost python, which is commonly used. Seeing as you're already making use of boost, it might be an idea to try that.

20, England. Big fan of the first two MOO games, and upset with how the 3rd one turned out. I'm just lurking around here really. I can program in python and c++ and just want maybe a little bit of experience. So if there are any jobs that people can't be bothered doing, just ask :)

well, it is a touch unfinished. :) I'm not working on it any more, but I've given the link to the .mid file, so anyone can use it and maybe make it a bit more interesting. In fact, I'd be quite interested to hear the results! I might make some more stuff if I get round to it sometime and if I come u...

Robbob Music

Hi, I'm new here, but the prject looks really good. I wrote some music a while back that I think might be suitable for freeorion.
