Graphics: surely something like ->->->- would do.

How would you place them? Randomly? Universe generation should still make sure the galaxy remains connected in all directions.

Or, players create them only via star lane bore. If implemented, I think Experimentors should also use them.

I solved it by de-installing python-3.9.

Maybe one day I should re-install the entire machine. After upgrading to the 3rd(?) Debian version I probably have a lot of useless old packages installed :roll:
