Well, well. I tried to make some classical space fanfare but someting completely different came out today. Any idea if you could use that?
Maybe it's a little too classic.

Re: LaplaceOperator Music
Thx for the comments. Not many though... I really like the idea of a random space sound carpet that gets mixed while the game is running. I've been playing around with different lead synths to add more melodic parts. But it's really hard to find something that fits the setting. Maybe I should keep i...

Re: LaplaceOperator Music
Well yeah it definitely needs more melodic elements.

LaplaceOperator Music
Recently I've been playing around with logic and I tried to make some space music. It's still at an early stage. And it definitely needs a lot of equalizer and mixing work. As you will notice the end is unfinished. But anyway here it is: http://n.ethz.ch/student/schwadri/download/sp.mp3 Please let m...

I just had a look. The stuff is there. Maybe they were maintaining the servers yesterday.

Re: MacOsX Version issues
The urls are working again. I don't know why they were inaccessible but maybe it would be a good thing to host the binaries on sourceforge if possible.

Re: Sortable ListBox
I just toyed around with ListBox in your controls.cpp tutorial example. If you step through the Insert code you will notice that DefaultRowCMP<...> is not called (line 1443-1446). In this particular example it doesn't make any difference though: m_lb->SetSortCmp(GG::ListBox::DefaultRowCmp<GG::ListBo...

Re: MacOsX Version issues
For some reason my student page is down. I contacted support. But this could take a while. Just check back in a day or two.

Sortable ListBox
I have some problems regarding the sortable listbox. I noticed that GG::ListBox has already support for sorting rows. But it seems not finished or just buggy or I am using it wrong. I made a small testcase and noticed a couple of things that are not how they should be. 1. If I supply a compare funct...

Re: This is going brutally slow
... (Aside: It might be a good idea to stop asking people to work on making the buildable items list columns click-sortable, as it's taken and killed off two people so far, and possibly a third if I don't hear back from LaplaceOperator soon...) Here I am ;-). Just saw this and thought that I should...

Re: Fleet Move Lines
What I thought would be maybe worth a try is, that when you select a fleet... 1. it's paths (current and projected) get somehow a visible focus versus all the other paths (e.g. other paths may be faded out a little, become thinner etc.) 2. the Fleet symbol (or a copy of it with less opacity, a versi...

Re: MacOsX Version issues
No. I'm sorry but i built FreeOrion against the 10.4 system libraries, so this will not work. I will try to make a new build against the 10.3 libs eventually. But this will take some time as all the dependencies have to be rebuilt as well.

Re: MacOsX Version issues
Yeah I noticed this problem too. Must be the new network code.
