Possible fan-mods in future?

Is there any chance that perhaps upon full release that their might be allowance for fan-made mods to be created, allowing the creation of extra content, such as 'Surface view' or other things?

Re: More spam???

You're welcome Geoff, most of my time looking into this project in a posting perspective is minimal as obviously indicated. With reason this is because I dedicate greater time toward projects when an opportunity to become involved arises (or is offered). My strength is that I'm a jack of all trades,...

Human solar system.

*First off, I apologise for the constant use of "Primary/Secondary planet" terminology.* This may be a 'beaten horse' subject already, I have my 2 cents example for the human colony overview upon starting a game as the Human race. (Humans start with two Terran worlds in their solar system - why? rea...

Tougher site registration to prevent malicious intent.

I am unsure of the registration process to become a poster on the forums, as it has been over a year since I signed up. I am concerned with the recent posts made by either bots, or by morons who try and gain something for malicious purposes (out of targetting novice users, or generally naiive people...

Re: FreeOrion Project Status?

Thank you for replying, Geoff. I am certainly glad to see that this project has remained active and is still going great. This project is ambitious, as much as it is delivering what you guys are promising. I have read the SVN updates, and they are enlightening and interesting. Keep up the great work...

Concept art for a species

Hey everyone, I started working on some concept art for a humanoid race, and I'd like to share it with you. The pics are not finished enough to be a final product, so keep in mind these pics are only to be shared with you all as I feel this un-named race could be discussed for suitability for Master...

Re: Hi all, back again.

First and most importantly, Geoff, here is a screenshot of the spelling error circled in red, it is only in the menu, not the tooltip. http://i43.tinypic.com/5pkimh.jpg Also, thanks for pointing out the delay control for tooltips in Options, much appreciated. Now, generally, onto the tech tree idea,...

Re: Hi all, back again.

Hi, Thanks for the replies, and I can see where you are both coming from, and thanks for the elaborated reply Pd, it helped explain the point better which is appreciated. I'm just going to give my thoughts currently after playing the 0.3.13 build, and it explains the positives, and the negatives, so...

Hi all, back again.

Some of you may not remember me, because I haven't posted in a long time, I started contributing ideas toward sound files, and am back to check out how everything is panning out. I am excited about the progress of the game thus far and have just downloaded it to try it out later tonight. Since I las...
