Thank you for your feedback. The ideas we have presented are compatible. My preference is for smaller ship battles and the reason for this is that the tactical choices and outcomes are limited so adding 100 ships does nothing to the overall experience except for making it difficult to manage. Hi Robbie, your post started me thinking... I put myself in the place of the Admiral and thought about the chain of command. I knew I couldn't control each ship individually en-masse, but I could organise them into manageable groups, trusting on the skills of the leader of the group to control those...

I'm Cam.
I'm from Melbourne Australia.
I've downloaded the subversion tree and i'm reading the codebase.
I've signed up for the mailing lists.
I build using MSVC.
Hopefully I can contribute something useful
