There was a quite problematic bug, though : A few test games earlier (in single player) I designed a ship. This game i suddenly found out that i added mass drivers instead of flak. Ophiuchus, have you played a game until you have 30+ planets? There is no way at all to keep influence positive. And doing what you suggest means losing the game. There is no inherent stability bonus for exobot i am aware of. Probably they like the planetary focus?

So when you get the tech shortly after reaching minimum cost C you are lucky, and when you reached 2C you get it for sure (unlucky). ... FreeOrion could do something similar. This would allow for randomization of how fast you get the tech, but not what the tech gives you. What is the gameplay benef...

You are missing a planet in that system. if your tech is good enough, you can bring one over. but usually its easier to implode a red star.

Must have set one of the ships to aggressive I guess? Else it combat shouldnt have triggered.
