Re: Online voice chat meeting, Wednesday 15th July

Now that I've posted this, I seem to recall someone wanted a change, like possibly a change to the time of the meeting? I don't recall what though, sorry.

Re: Online voice chat meeting, Wednesday 17th June

Thanks to everyone who attended. A very rough summary of the meeting: 1. Introductions were made 2. Meeting software - It was suggested we try Jitsi rather than Mumble. It was noted that Jitsi has problems with large numbers of meeting participants but for our small numbers it should be OK. There wa...

Re: Proposed online voice chat meeting

I should be available. I can attend, too Awesome, there'll be the three of us at least then. any specific topic though? For regular online meetings, what I've seen work in the past is that the organiser sends out an agenda beforehand and people can reply with more subjects to add. During the meetin...

Proposed online voice chat meeting

An online voice chat meeting was suggested in this thread . I thought it would be appropriate to create a separate thread to discuss this. Is anyone interested in attending an online voice chat meeting? Assuming so, I proposed a time of every other Wednesday night at 8pm Berlin time; would that be a...

Re: In-person developers meeting/hackfest

I think most of the currently active developers, including me, reside in Germany. That would make Germany the obvious choice but it would be difficult for me to organise as I'm not a local and my German language is negligible. If nobody else steps up to organise, another option would be to arrange ...

Re: In-person developers meeting/hackfest

I would suggest arranging online group voice chats That's very doable. Looking at the git log, it seems like there is very regular activity at the moment. Perhaps a meeting every fortnight? Seeing as Germany is the most common location for developers, how about 8pm Berlin time (CEST), every other W...

Re: In-person developers meeting/hackfest

Vezzra and I had mused about a "FO-Con" a while back, meaning a weekend-spanning (?) event. While meeting in person may not betremendously productive, at least it would be very fun. However, I don't see myself being able to take charge of organising such a thing anytime soon. But I would ...

In-person developers meeting/hackfest

Hi, I was wondering if you guys ever meet in person? I searched the forum but I couldn't find anything obvious. In my experience, meeting in person can be extremely productive and positive for a project as a whole and there seems to be an absence here. Would anyone be interesting in attending a meet...
