So ships and fighters are x6 but what about planetry defences are these still the old numbers? Also what do alliances do? I'm used to ignoring that in single player. Shared supply? Is scouting shared?

I would like to play too. Though I may need instructions on how to connect up to the server. Do we have a rough estimate on how long a game lasts? How long did the 10th take?

Both the upgraded organic hulls have an extra internal slot to fit a fuel tank & any of the hulls with external slots fit a ram scoop, though I'm not sure how much a ram scoop gives having never used it.

Unrelated matter: Is there a way to calculate the supply range of a given planet (by size, infrasturcture, dry docks, technologie and species)? It has that problem, & to an extent you can get around it & to an extent you have to learn where to not micromanage & put up with imperfection for the sake of your sanity. Aurora is pretty fun if you don't mind database graphics, massive complexity & an unfriendly interface. On the upside it's free and allows for a lot of freedom in how you play.
