I'm out guys.
I know I didn't post all that much (just in the quiet Audio forum primarily) but I'm leaving the internet for a (long) while. Unfortunately things have turned to shit for me. I've had to sell most of my musical gear and I have to move house. Obviously this sucks for multiple reasons, but it sucks be...

Musician Collective
I've started this topic to bring all the contributing musicians together in the one thread so we can share our styles, what hardware/software we can contribute and just so we can get to know each other. I use Pro Tools, Ableton Live and Reason mainly. I have Guitar Pro 3 which I can use for effects ...

Re: Another offer to assist
Thanks pd. I've been lurking here a bit lately and read that post already. I agree with what Geoff said. My personal opinion is to have race-specific audio themes, but since races seem to be a while off I haven't started a discussion topic about it yet. I think if we have a collective of musicians/p...

Re: Another offer to assist
Music is definitely my 'thing' as opposed to sound effects so this sounds good.pd wrote:I think we are mostly covered with sound effects for now, so contributors should focus on music.

Another offer to assist
Hi team. I just signed up earlier to post a support query and mentioned in the thread that I wish I knew coding/programming so I could contribute... which got me thinking about audio for the game. I'm a Music Tech student currently who loves designing ambient soundscapes/soundtrack music so I'd like...

Re: [MAC] Game Window bigger than desktop
I will. I think the project is fascinating, I'm glad I stumbled upon it. I don't know any coding/programming though so unfortunately I doubt I can contribute - besides finding "errors" I suppose.

[MAC] Game Window bigger than desktop
I've just downloaded and installed FreeOrion for the Mac (from SourceForge 'FreeOrion-0.3.13-MacOSX-i386-p1.zip') and the app window it runs in is bigger then my desktop and I have no access to the bottom of the screen. This becomes obvious when in the Research menu (see pic). I managed to resize th...
