As people seem unable reading, maybe it's possible to add a check to the installer!? The system error message doesn't help much.... I run in the same problem but remembered the issue.

Hopefully the next release won't have the requirement at all... I did some additional research since RC5, and found some promising leads.

If not, then yes, a check in the installer would be good, since the error message currently generated is so useless.
