Hello. I want to change a small thing in how species description layout is presented. I think it is done not in best way currently (I mean it is unaligned since the game uses not a fixed sized font, see 'before.jpeg' screenshot). Here's how I suggest to change the layout: see 'after-1.jpeg' and 'after-3.png'. The last one uses a Unicode dash to be same width as plus. Unfortunately I couldn't find a Unicode space character with the same width as plus sign so the text is actually aligned with the help of a tab character. What do you think of the change?

Geoff are these characters going to cause any issues? I can't remember exactly the issue, but some characters or formatting in the past worked fine for me but not on other systems.

If not i'll add the patch.

No idea...

There were rendering problems for me (see the screenshot 'after-2.jpeg'). But after the patch viewtopic.php?p=54049#p54049 was committed they are gone.
I also suspect that it will be harder after the change to modify the stringtable file with simpler tools like notepad (especially in Windows XP). This needs testing.

I guess we'll find out. It works for me.

They should be able to at least copy/paste. If not, i'm not concerned with that little loss of accessibility.

* Update Russian localization accordingly (probably needs to be approved by cjckem first).
* Remove dots at the end of some species feats descriptions
